Partner Program Terms

These terms apply to the SheaXpress Partner Program, run by SheaXpress LLC ("SheaXpress," "we," "us"). They apply to you once your application is approved. By sharing your partner link or code, you agree to them.

1. Joining

Anyone 18 or older can apply through our Partner page. We review every application and approve partners at our discretion. There are two ways to take part:

  • Affiliates earn commission on sales they refer.
  • Creators are invited by us. They receive a product kit in exchange for content, and also earn commission.

2. Commission

  • You earn 15% of net sales you refer.
  • Once your total referred net sales reach $750, you earn 20% on every sale after that.
  • "Net sales" means the order total after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, gift cards and canceled orders.
  • A sale is credited to you when a customer uses your code, or buys within 30 days of clicking your link. If a customer uses one partner's code after clicking another partner's link, the code wins.
  • You do not earn commission on your own orders.

3. Your code and your discount

  • Your personal code gives your followers 10% off. It cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • During sitewide sales, customers receive the sale discount instead of your code discount. You still earn commission on those orders.
  • As a partner, you receive 20% off your own orders, for personal use only. Partner orders may not be resold.

4. Payment

  • Commission is paid monthly, by the 15th, for sales from the previous month that have passed a 30-day hold.
  • Payments are made by PayPal. The minimum payout is $25. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
  • Commission on orders that are canceled or refunded is removed.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for a W-9 and will issue tax forms as the law requires.

5. Creator kits

  • Creator kits are by invitation only. We choose the products, up to about $60 in retail value.
  • In return, you post at least one Reel or TikTok featuring the products within 30 days of delivery.
  • You allow SheaXpress to repost and share that content on our social accounts, website and emails, with credit to you. We will ask your permission separately before using your content in paid ads.

6. Content rules

Every post about SheaXpress must follow these rules.

  • Always disclose. Use #ad or #SheaXpressPartner, and turn on the platform's Paid Partnership label. This is required by the Federal Trade Commission.
  • Share your experience. Talk about how products look, feel and smell, and how you use them in your routine.
  • Do not make health or results claims. That means no claims about hair growth, hair loss, thickening or retention; no naming skin conditions such as eczema, acne, psoriasis or dark spots; no brightening or lightening claims; and no saying a product heals, treats, cures or prevents anything.
  • Do not describe SheaXpress as organic, and do not use the phrase "small batch."
  • Use accurate product names and prices, and do not alter our logo.
  • Do not say or imply that you work for SheaXpress or speak on its behalf.

7. Not allowed

  • Posting your code on coupon or deal websites.
  • Bidding on "SheaXpress" or our product names in search ads.
  • Selling SheaXpress products on Amazon, eBay or any other marketplace.
  • Writing reviews of products you haven't used, or posting reviews for others.
  • Spam, misleading offers, or anything that would embarrass the brand or its customers.

8. Our rights

  • We may ask you to edit or remove any post that breaks these terms.
  • We may withhold commission on sales connected to a breach of these terms.
  • We may update these terms. We will email you at least 14 days before changes take effect.

9. Ending the partnership

Either of us can end the partnership at any time. Commission you have already earned is paid in the next payment cycle, unless the partnership ends because of a breach of these terms.

10. Legal

  • You are an independent partner, not an employee or agent of SheaXpress.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the commission owed to you for the previous three months.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
